Please read these terms carefully before creating an account. By using RankKiwi, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, registering your local business page, or interacting with RankKiwi in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.
2. User Accounts & Registration
To utilize the reputation dashboard, you must register a business user account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during setup.
- Maintain the security of your password and credentials.
- Promptly update your profile if details about your business change.
- Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your user account.
3. Platform Guidelines
RankKiwi is a free utility built to connect local businesses with genuine customer experiences. To protect platform integrity, we enforce the following rules:
- Authenticity: You must not use our platform to generate fake reviews, offer monetary compensation for five-star reviews, buy reviews, or bypass Google Business Profile guidelines.
- Respectful Interaction: Feedback mechanisms must not be used to harass customers, post defamatory remarks, or collect illegal metadata.
- No Gatekeeping: Under recent consumer protection rules and search platform guidelines, you must not select or filter feedback in a way that blocks negative opinions from public review channels (“review gatekeeping”). We provide routing templates but encourage transparent public review requests.
4. Intellectual Property
The RankKiwi brand, logo, codebase, visual layout systems, styling designs, and platform assets are the exclusive property of RankKiwi. You may use our printable checkout kits, QR codes, and dashboard reports for your own business operations, but you may not republish, repackage, or resell our software.
5. Prohibited Activities
You are prohibited from:
- Using scripts, scrapers, or automated bots to harvest metadata from public directory pages.
- Attempting to bypass security systems, probe database vulnerabilities, or upload malicious payloads.
- Impersonating another business owner, clinic, or school to collect reviews.
- Spamming public feedback links with fabricated responses.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
RankKiwi is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the platform operation, database backups, uptime stability, or search visibility benefits. We do not guarantee that our tools will directly increase your search ranking on Google Maps or other search directories.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankKiwi, its team, or infrastructure providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of business profits, customer database losses, brand reputation damage, or account suspensions by Google.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.
